From The Desk of Sistry Foundation
Our NGO – SISTRY FOUNDATION. ( Social Infrastructure for Schedule Tribe & Rural Youth Foundation) was formed in the year 2009. Our NGO consists of five Board Members. Our NGO is situated at Nabadwip, Dist – Nadia, West Bengal.
Primary Function of our NGO is to develop of up lip of Backward Classes & Rural youth from poor family. During the last five years we have worked successfully towards eradication of Child Trafficking & Child marriage with child protection unit at Nadia Block office, Krishnagar, West Bengal. We have prevented several child marriage & child trafficking in the border area of Nadia District.
We have also rescued several child labour from various Tea Stalls, Brick kiln with support from District Administration of Nadia.
We have formed twelve number of FPO ( Farmers Producer Organization ) at Bardhaman with support from NABARD. In this way we have developed the leaving standard & earning of Small and marginal farmers. We have also taken step to provided the small and marginal Farmers with Bank loan and various Govt. subsidy.
In future we have plans to expand our activity to others places and bring more people under the FPO at different District of West Bengal.
