Football Promotion Programme

As Brazil in Africa Football is the most famous and popular game in the state of West Bengal in India. In even remote villages in West Bengal in India there are so many boys and girls belonging to disadvantaged section of society having in-born talent in football game. But they neither get any coaching for their skill upgradation nor any nourishing food for health improvement. They also never get necessary equipment’s like Jersey, boot etc. To upgrade skill of disadvantaged football payers including both boys and girls SISTRY Foundation has been working for the last 7 years.

During the current financial year as well as earlier years SISTRY Foundation has conducted the following activities:

1. Football coaching training for tribal girls

SISTRY Foundation conducted Skill upgradation training for 32 tribal girl football players from 01.06.2023 to 07.07.2024.

2. Organising Football Tournament for Tribal Girls

SISTRY Foundation conducted knock out one day Football Tournament for tribal girls on 23.03/2024. 7 clubs of tribal girls participated in the tournament. 6 Club of Tribal girls became the winner and one club of Tribal Girls became the Runners. The trophy giving event was organised on 23.03.2024.

3. Distribution of Jersey, sports shoes and Football among the Football players

SISTRY Foundation also distributed Jersey, Sports shoes and Football among 15 disadvantaged girls football players on 23.03.2024 for tournament and also provide Jersey, sports shoes for skill upgradation training on 01.06.2023.
